Cusco and Apurimac will benefit from the cable car to Choquequirao

The construction of a cable car in the archeological center, will benefit economic development to the people through cultural tourism that drive regions Apurimac and Cusco, said today the Minister of Culture, Susana Baca.

The construction will have a length of two kilometers and allow tourists to reach the resort in 30 minutes.
At the site found that future building will not affect the landscape-Huanipaca Kiuñalla viewpoint, but will serve to generate economic development opportunity for the benefit of local people.
Culture Minister visited the Cocharcas district, where he was received with great fanfare by the population, who reported they had never been visited by a minister of state.

His arrival was interpreted as a sign of commitment of the Ministry of Culture with the restoration of the sanctuary of Our Lady of Cocharcas, work that will require an investment of approximately five million new soles.
